Example: The “G-Force” movie trailer. With the majority saying exactly what I said when I saw the trailers for the first time on TV not too long ago … “WTF!?” This can’t be the same as the Science Ninja Team Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets/G-Force anime. This is a bunch of dumb ass anthropomorphic gerbils or guinea pigs or what-ever.

Does Disney’s live action guinea pig movie really have anything to do with the anime in any way, shape, or form? I have no idea. If it does and it was so drastically changed to resemble nothing of the anime they should change the damn name of the movie. My two cents. Come on jagoffs Bruckheimer and Disney, ever heard of a search engine? How hard would it be to search and think up another original name for the movie to avoid confusion?
As I stated before in my post a few years back a Gatchaman movie is being made although I don’t know if it will be released worldwide or only in certain locations.

NOTE: I so seriously wanted to use GIMP to edit the index finger to have Ken/Mark/Ace sticking out his middle finger, but I settled for just adding a caption to it. So just imagine Ken “flipping the bird” as well… Ha Ha… flipping the bird! Their costumed alter egos are based on —birds! Ahaha, I’m so funny! :lol:

In February 2008, the Americanized version of the Chinese horror film The Eye (見鬼) will be in theaters despite the fact that the original Chinese version was released publicly in North America sometime in 2003 but in very limited number of theaters.

I’m hoping it will be good and it will be interesting to see how the anime style is adapted and carried over to live actors. In other news, Hong Kong CG studio Imagi will be dishing out animated movies for Gatchaman (a.k.a. Battle of the Planets/G-Force) and Astro Boy in a few years.

Depending on how well it does, you can probably count on there being at least one sequel since the Japanese version was a trilogy.

Looks like his coffee kiosks are slated for distribution in parts of Asia only—for now. Boo Hiss—I’m all the way in Pittsburgh. Hopefully there will be a way to buy it here either online or in a store somewhere sometime in the future.

A major plus side… It’s for a good cause since a portion of the profits will “help buy books and build schools across Asia”. Another plus about this Chan/coffee venture is it will be produced right here in Pittsburgh by Hometown Coffee Co. (well, located in Bridgeville Borough to be exact, which is just outside of Pittsburgh).

Sad. Joey’s death (April 15, 2001) seemed unexpected at least to me since he denied publicly being sick and only the people who knew him knew how sick he was. Dee Dee’s OD death (June 7, 2002) on the other hand, was sort of a gimme the way people talked about his punk lifestyle.

I don’t know any of them but from the information that keeps coming out, it seems so far I would have understood Johnny the most. Outside of the hardcore baseball and hardcore Republican stuff. Although I did play softball during my senior year of high school, started guitar in middle school and would rather watch a horror movie over a sappy one. What I don’t understand is why some people complain about the fact he wanted to make money. Duh! That’s usually why some people go into the music biz. Sure it’s fun to entertain but it’s also nice to have a little something to kick back on.

Money’s not always a bad thing. It helps pay the bills among other things. I hate the idea of being wasteful. It’s stupid to be wasteful in money because you never know when it won’t be there when you need it. Especially for someone my age; by the time I reach retirement age I won’t be able to retire and most likely Social Security will be null, void and done with.

Think in the future?not the present. Don’t dream too hard or you’ll dream your life away.

After doing some research I looked and saw that Johnny’s birthday was on October 8. Then I remembered this entry of mine in which I yapped about what happened to my Amazon.com wishlist account info a few years back. Strange.

It is on the soundtrack for the series and they kept advertising it during the show. This version is by someone named Richard Thompson. I couldn’t even bear to watch the show the version was so bad.
