Nice find a Goodwill

Every last Saturday of the month here where I live, there is a “Super Saturday” sale at Goodwill. 50% all donated clothing only. This is the only time a can really go to Goodwill. Despite the fact the discount is only on the clothes, I always make a point to look around the household goods section and books as well just incase.

One of the best finds (a find like this one is very rare) was a Japanese tea set for $2.99 (sans tax)! Items are labled “Tea House”. Looks new except for the stains on the lid of the box it came in. It came with a teapot w/ lid (only about 4″-4.5″ in height), 6 little tea cups, a little pitcher, and a wooden/or bamboo scoop that was in with it. I know this set has got to be more than $2.99 retail.

TEA HOUSE tea set. Lable on tea set items. Label on top of box lid.

In other news, I found a shiny 2002 penny face up on the sidewalk today on the way to Goodwill.
