Good Incense, Bad toothy.

Aaaah! Actually found some incense that smells good. I was not really the incense type before, but I think I can get use to this.

It started months ago when I bought some stick incense at a local grocery store. It was strawberry. Well, at least it was suppose to be strawberry. They smelled good unlit but it was an entirely different story when they were lit. Uuuuuuggh! This threw me off for a few months.

Around here the chain of PharMor stores recently closed down and were slashing the prices on everything in the store. I bought 7 packs of GoneshR brand “Ghostly Glow” Halloween incense figuring I could hawk them on eBay. I even had my templates and scans ready, but had no way of describing the way they smell to a potential buyer since they were sealed in a bag. I didn’t want anyone to buy them not knowing what they smelled like before hand and find themselves stuck with yucky smelly incense like I was with the “strawberry” ones. I decide I could spare 1 pack. They smell O.K. I found a little censer I’ve had for years but never got around to giving it any use. I took one stick and broke a small 1″ piece off, lit it, blew the flame out and put it in the censer for a test. Aaaah! This is much better. Now my little metal censer can finally be put to use. It must be because the sticks are make by a known company unlike the generic strawberry ones I got before.

Now the GoneshR sticks past the test, I put some salt in the bottom censer and broke off a few more pieces. Looks like I’m keeping the other packs too. I should have went back and bought the rest. They were 80% off.

I got a lower right tooth extracted in August of this year. It was extremely and very BADLY abscessed from last year. That one was taken out but it was the other side that was in extreme pain this year that prompted the dentist visit. Strange thing was that the x-ray only showed a spot of abscess (if at all?) at the tooth that had me doubled over in pain. Was on Amoxicillin for a while which was good when I was first given it because I think I was coming down with something. Don’t know what but I felt a little under the weather, my hearing was dull and around the front part and side of my hairline/head was feeling numb. It went away about a day or two after starting the antibiotics. Now my tooth feels like it’s acting up again. It feels a bit higher/raised than it suppose to be at times. Both this tooth and the one pulled in August have fillings in them. Apparently they were DEEP fillings despite the fact that I had minor specks for cavities. These were put in by a previous dentist about 10 years ago.
